Antarctica polar ice caps

The heating of the earth may cause many undesirable problems in the future if it was not stop. The higher temperatures melt the polar ice caps, more water flows into the sea, and that means the sea level will further rise. In fact, it has already risen around 4 to 10 inches in the past 100 years.

A higher sea level, as a result, may wash out some beaches all over the world, for example those wonderful beaches in Maldives area, and inundate beautiful seaside cities and towns that are at or below sea level.

Now, the problem of greenhouse gases emissions are far intensified than that for the past 100 years, because of larger transportation system, much developed industry and much higher consumption of gas, fossil fuel and electricity, intensified deforestation and heavy usage of fertilizers. The result will be even worst than what we can imagine. Please share with us your point of view?
